Mikey's Dog Town Pit Bull Welfare and Rescue Partners:
"Pit Crew Illinois provides training and rehabilitation services for pit bulls in Illinois who have been abused, neglected and left behind. With time, patience, kindness, good training, dedication and hard work, Pit Crew Illinois is committed to providing these animals with the long, happy futures they so richly deserve." - http://www.pitcrewil.org/
"The Brew City Bully Club is a small group of intensely dedicated volunteers that work at an incredible pace to address the Pit Bull problems of SE WI. We are not a radical organization - everything has pros and cons - including Pit Bulls. It's our mission to present those attributes in a knowledgable, compassionate and understanding fashion to all!" - http://brewcitybullies.org
Minnesota Pit Bull Rescue: Finding solid dogs, solid homes
"We are a foster-home based rescue in the twin cities, working to find our dogs their best possible matches through careful placement, education, and training in our unique foster-to-adopt program. We take our commitment to the breed and the public very seriously and are always striving to improve the outlook for pit bulls in our community. The nation-wide advocacy and awareness movement for pit bulls is inspiring and we appreciate doing what we can here in MN that will contribute to the cause." http://mnpitbull.com/

Meet Ravishing Rudy

Rudy's name was inspired by the movie "Rudy" because he overcame a huge obstacle by getting out of animal control safe and sound during their busiest time of the year. Rudy is determined to beat the odds and fulfill his dream of finding a loving forever home. He is a loveable, compact little pittie mix with a very expressive face.
He's probably a little over 2 years old and we do not think he had the greatest start in life - his foster mom said she never saw bathwater so black as after his first bath. Even though he started life as a stray on the streets with no place to call home and no family, Rudy adores attention from people and his tail is always wagging.
He gets along well with his foster doggie brother and sister. He knows basic commands, and is always working on leash walking skills and manners. He has lots of energy so he'll need an adopter with previous pit bull experience who is dedicated to giving him plenty of exercise and additional training. He will do best in a home with children 8 years or older. For more information about Rudy, email adopt@brewcitybullies.org.
